Thomas Allen Cook

Thomas Cook, 72 years old of Spring Grove, IL passed away at home surrounded by family. Tom fought daily for 3 years to recover from a motorcycle accident. Tom was born March 30th, 1948 to the late George and Lovie Cook in Chicago, IL. Tom joined the Navy in 1967 and served his country proudly while stationed in Vietnam. Tom met his wife Jackie and they were married May 4th, 1971 and through that union they had one son Dereck. They made their home in Chicago until 1988 when they moved to Spring Grove, IL where Tom built their home. Tom was a carpenter by trade.

Tom gave his heart to Jesus in 1990 and became a member of Christian Life Fellowship Church. He was also a member of Christian Motorcyclist Association for many years.

Tom leaves to cherish his memories; His wife Jackie, son Dereck, a granddaughter Krystal, 2 great grandsons Sylas and Mandyx, a foster daughter Candice and her son Matthew, a special friend Candi Hess, one brother George Cook (Helen) many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
