Monserrate Aponte, 93, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 8, 2026. Born in Puerto Rico, Monserrate lived a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and love. A devoted homemaker and beloved matron of her family, she poured her heart into caring for those she loved and created a home filled with warmth and togetherness.
Monserrate was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her children, Carmen, Luis and his wife Sara, German and his wife Elizabeth, Nilda, Iris, and Joseph; her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and extended family who were blessed by her love and guidance.
She will be remembered for her strength, faith, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy will live on through the generations she raised, guided, and loved so deeply. Psalm 73:26 “Though my flesh and my heart fail, God is the rock of my heart, my portion forever.”
Today, we celebrate her life with grateful hearts and the promise that to die in Christ is to live forever. Her earthly journey has ended, but her life lives on in paradise for eternity.
