Maria S. Lopez

-Maria Salustina Lopez, 81, passed on Friday, Sept. 14 at her home in Chicago.

She was born on November 29, 1936 in Ecuador to her parents Eriberto Mendoza and Carolota Avila, who both proceed her in death. Maria is also preceded in death by her husband, Juan E. Lopez and son, Juan A. Lopez.

She is survived by many loving family members including sons, step-sons, brothers, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A wake service will be held at Christian Funeral Home, 3100 W. Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618, on Friday, Sept 21 between 4 - 9 PM. A mass in her memory will take place the next day on Sat. Sept 22, 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy, 4432 N Troy St, Chicago, IL 60625. Immediate to follow, burial will take place at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery at 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
