Maria Gonzalez

Maria Concepcion de Gonzalez was born on December 12, 1931, in the small town of Aguada, Puerto Rico.
To all who knew her, they would agree she was a great example of being a warrior.  She was a woman who placed her faith, hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, her Savior. 
She was an example of being a woman who rises early also while it is still night lifting her family and friends in prayer. She welcomed many to her house and served each person with open arms and a joyful heart. Those who knew her couldn’t help but to love her. No matter what trials she endured in life she never blamed God, but rather gave Him glory. She understood that in her weakness she was made strong and was able to persevere the trials that was set before her, because of her hope and faith in Christ Jesus.
She raised six loving children and a loving granddaughter.  She was also considered mom and grandmother to the community.  She was totally dedicated to her family in all aspects of their lives. She would always have a hug and kiss for everyone traveling through. She is survived by her children, Norma and  her husband, Elba and her husband, Carlos and his wife, Robert and his wife, Daisy, Luchie and her husband, Michi, 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grand children, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a great grandchild on the way.
She might be gone from our touch, but will forever be in our heart.  We all thank her for leaving the imprint of what it looks like to be a godly woman. We could only imagine how she must feel being in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
