George Carlo Obituary

George Enrique Carlo, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2020. He was born on February 1, 1996 to Enrique Carlo and Inocencia Cruz. He was the baby boy Inocencia prayed so deeply to have one day.

Sadly, in January 2001, George Carlo lost his mother at the age of 4. Devastated by the loss the Cruz Family tried their very best to pick up the pieces and raise George and his younger brother, Enrique Carlo. George was loved by so many and seen as more than just a nephew or cousin. He was a son and brother to all.

He enjoyed living life to the fullest and spending time around family. His bright smile could light up any room and his captivating laugh would make anyone feel the joy he shared. He had such an inviting heart, full of warmth. His charisma is none like another by the gentle, cool, calm, and collect demeanor he genuinely had. So loving. So sweet.

A strong man, he always tried to be. Despite making mistakes in his youth, he never let that stop him from dreaming and wanting better for himself. George had a way of putting his feelings and thoughts into writing followed by a rhythm and flow. His skill was untouchable.

If you recently got to speak with George, you’d know how he laid out a plan for his future. He was confident he would accomplish whatever he set out to do. Most importantly, one of those plans was centered around being the role model his younger brother,Enrique Carlo, needed. After spending some time apart from each other George looked forward to the day he could welcome his brother into his home with open arms. He expressed how he wanted to take care of his brother and guide him in the right direction. Even though his plan was short lived, George left an imprint on his brother’s heart who will continue to fulfill George’s vision.

Those special memories of George will always bring a smile. If only we can have him back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. He always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that he’s no longer here will always cause us pain, but he’s forever in our heart until we meet again.

Although we are saddened about losing George Carlo so soon, we can find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his loving mother.
