It is with deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn
the passing of DIONISIO D. YADAO JR., of the City of Chicago on the 23rd day of December 2020, at the age of 81 years.
Dionisio also known as “Tatay” to his family and Jun to his closest friends, was born on January 28, 1939 to his father Dionisio Sr. and mother Teodosia Yadao at Zamora St., Iloilo City, Philippines.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, he went to work at Marinduque Mining and Industrial Corporation in Sipalay, Negros Occidental, Philippines where he stayed for most of his career as an engineer. There, he met the Love of his life and got married to his wife, Fredeswenda Degillo. He always mentioned that His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of his children - Hazel, Winston and Denise; grandchildren Anna Nicole, Trisha Mae and Francine Belle and always tried his best to support them in anything even if physically he couldn't be with them at all times. Anyone who knew our Tatay Jun, knew that he was caring and loving father and husband. He is the most patient and kindest person who never fails to keep a smile on his face no matter what.
Dionisio will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Fredeswenda; children, Hazel (Inday Bubbles), (Toto) Winston, Denise (Achi D); grandchildren, Anna Nicole (Ate Nikka), Trisha Mae, Francine Belle; sons and daughter-in-law, Bernard, Nella, Ranier, and numerous other family members and friends.
“TATAY, you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, you’re always at our side.”
