Daniel Lee Martin Sr

Daniel Martin was born on August 16th, 1956 to Sam and Mary Lois Martin in San Manuel, Arizona. He was the youngest of four children. He has an older sister, Mary (the late Dan Koch), two brothers, Sam (Kelly) and Tom (Glenda). His father was a pastor and pastored various churches in Indiana and Illinois and Dan often played his guitar in the church services. It was at the First Baptist Church in Round Lake that Dan met his future wife, Mary. On January 21st, 1978 they were married and moved to Chicago where he was employed at S&C Electric Company until his death.

Dan is survived by his wife Mary (Stump), sister Mary, brother Tom, daughter Mary Lois, son Dan Jr and his wife Heather and three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bronx and Baylee, his stepmother Mary Lou Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mary Lois, stepmother Maxine, and brother Sam.
