Bessie Raftis

Bessie Raftis, age 99.  Devoted daughter of the late James and Mary Raftis; dear brother of Harry (the late Athene) Raftis, the late Alex (the late Dolores) Raftis and the late Andrew Raftis; fond uncle of Maria (Chris) Vastis, Andrew (Barbara) Raftis, Robert Janu, the late James (Margarita) Raftis, Cynthia (Richard) Foster and the late Alex Raftis.  Loving great-aunt to Kristina (Jon) Pfeiler, Andrew Vastis, Andrew Raftis, Thomas (Melissa) Foster and Lauren (Jacob) Ginglen.  Bessie's favorite past times were growing flowers in the backyard and solving word puzzles.

Visitation and Funeral mass on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, Chicago, Illinois.  Interment immediately after at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois.  

Due to Covid 19 concerns, there will be no luncheon after the service.
