Thomas M. ” Mike”  Harris  

July 10, 1967 - March 25, 2018

Beloved son, brother, father, husband and a good friend to many.

Mike Harris (50)  of Prairie View, IL  went Home to be with the Lord on March 25th, 2018 (Palm Sunday) after an exhausting two-year battle.

Mercifully, he left this world peacefully and in no pain with his wife by his side and youngest daughter present. He is survived by his loving wife Paula and two beautiful daughters Raven and  Brooke.

Mike was known to many as ‘the toughest guy anyone ever met’, a man who loved God,  this country, and his family fiercely; he was an all-around 'Mr. Fix-It' and could fix just about anything; he was an extremely hard worker, a true perfectionist and someone who was always there when you needed him.

Mike was a fighter and he fought one of the toughest battles of his life with all he had. Even though he lost this battle--he still won!

His passing has a left a huge hole in the hearts of many (especially to his family)  that will not be soon filled- If ever.  Mike will be missed tremendously.

Mike’s service will be held on Thursday, March 29th  at the Rock of Israel Messianic Congregation located at 1598 N. Arlington Heights Road, Long Grove, IL  60047 telephone:  847/520-0616. Visitation starts at 5:00 p.m. and service at 7:00 p.m.
