Jessie Irene Vance

Jessie Irene Vance of Chicago, IL went home to be with our lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born September 12, 1933 in Harts, WV, a daughter of the late Brookie and Mose Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Vance, daughter-in-law Linda Vance (Darrell), and brothers Herbert and Grover Williamson.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Vance (Linda), her Grandchildren Jayson Vance, Timothy Vance, and Rebecca Harvey (Travis), sisters Polly Samson, Nary Combs, and Alta (Charles)Rice, brothers Tommy, Aley, and Homer(Barb) Williamson.

Jessie will be forever loved and missed by numerous other family and friends.
 

She married Charlie Vance on September 26, 1953.  They moved to the north side of Chicago in the spring of 1964 where they formed a new home and raised their son, Darrell. She volunteered at Illinois Masonic Hospital, spent wonderful days with her grand kids and remained in Chicago for the rest of her life.
