Robert Rojo

Mr. Robert Rojo, son of the late Facundo Rojo and Conception De Torres was born April 7, 1932 in Habana, Cuba. He went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 87. Robert was married to Maria Cecilia Allende on November 16, 1957; they were married for 62 years. Robert and his family immigrated to Miami from Cuba on January 6, 1971 and shortly thereafter moved to Chicago, IL.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Maria Cecilia; his son Robert Jr. (wife Marilyn), daughter Maria Cecilia (husband John), son Alex (wife Mimi); his grandchildren Michelle, Michael (wife Mandy), Nickolas (wife Alyssa), Scott, Daniel (wife Virginia), Jenilee, David, and Austin; his great-grandchildren David, Alyssa, Haley, Nathan, Aydin and Alexis.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 2 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Christian Funeral Home, 3100 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60618. Burial will follow on Friday, January 3 at 12:00 pm at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.
