Alice Claire Beck

Alice C. Beck, (nee Hansen) 91 , went to be with her Lord on July 12, 2019.  She was the beloved wife and best friend of 56 years to the late Fred E. Beck, Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Alice Hansen and brothers, Art Hansen and Milton “Bud” Hansen.  Alice was a loving and kind mom to Fred A. (Genie), Cindi (Mike) Bechtel, Cheryl (Tim) Shoemaker, Colleen (Tim) Ryan, Carol (Dan) Shoemaker and Cris (Jim) Olsen; compassionate grandma of Julie (Drew), Karin (Ryan), Katie (John), Andy (Laura), Mark (Sarah), Luke (Beth), Jennie, Jordan (Liz), Joy (Alan), Jamie, Gabe, Brandan, Emma & Trent and great-grandma to Lillian, Jake, Caslyn, Addison, Owen, Maren, Lily, Caleb, Claire, Miles, Daniel, Norah, James and another blessing due in November.  She was a loving and fond aunt to many.  Visitation on Sunday, July 28 from 4-8 pm at Bethel Community Church, 7601 W. Foster Ave., Chicago.   Visitation on Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Community Church as well.  Interment Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Northlake.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Community Church, Chicago; Inner City Impact, Chicago or Pacific Garden Mission, Chicago.
